Evan and I started off our journey by first going to say goodbye to daddy at work. Then we started the long track to Grandpa’s house.
We drove over the mountains and it was very pretty. Evan was quite impressed with the mountains and trees.
Evan did real good riding. I was real proud of him. He read books, looked at the DVD and slept.
And finally after approximately 9 hours we made it to Paducah, Kentucky where we stopped for the night. Being by myself I had to be creative on getting our stuff AND Evan up to the room all at one time. The trolley things came in handy!!
Evan, after being cooped up for a long time, ran all over the room ( sorry to those of you in the room below) . He finally settled down.
The bed and the way the pillows were arranged was pretty cool before Evan got hold of it.
The next morning we headed out early to Springfield. We saw a few sights along the way. We saw black cows which Evan said were RHINO’S, And cool bails of hay.
We made it into Springfield at around 3:00 in the afternoon. SHEW, what a LOOONG drive. ( 16 Hours total)
To be continued……………………….
