Are we Greek? No....but we LOVE the food!!!!!

We went to the Greek Festival they have here in Columbia every year. We used to go when we lived in Florence but it wasn't near as big. There are all kinds of vendors and food kiosks. We ate Greek meatballs over orzo in a lemon sauce, salad and a greek spinach pastry. It was sooooo yummy!!! Ya'll come go with us next year!!!!!!
Evan had a lot of fun. He ate all the food on his plate and enjoyed watching the little boys and girls dance.

Grammy and Evan. He attached himself to this cow they had that mooed and shook.

Then became attached to the moose/footstool

And after a great day of fun was very tired!!!

On the way home on Sunday we stopped at a KFC. Evan found somewhere to entertain himself while we stood talking!!!! Can you find him??? : )

He loves rocks and dirt. We had such a good time but it was good to get home and see daddy who couldn't join us.

What Tropical Storm???

We barely even had a drop of rain from Tropical storm Hanna. Which we greatly needed but was glad we didn't get the wind. Made for a beautiful day on Saturday so we decided to go to the Zoo. Evan is very aware of all the animals now and learning to make their sounds.
Evan LOVED riding the tram down to the Zoo from the gardens.

We had lunch there at the Kenya Cafe. UMMMM....where is the Irio, Ugali and sakuma??

Ok, well, you are probably not impressed by this or even remotely interested if you are not in the dental field but this Llama is in desperate need of some orthodontic work.

Evan was kicking up his heels most of the day.......

.....and then got tired....

So off we went.......

And here was one tired little boy. We had a great time though and plan on going alot more. It is alot of fun to see the excitement on Evan's face when he sees an animal he recognizes!!!!!
