Uncle ‘ Rolley ' Rolls Into Town!!!

Ole came to visit us last week and we had  a great time.  Evan quickly warmed up to him and named him “ Rolley “ .  We didn’t do a lot of exciting things but Ole was a HUGE help around the house. He fixed our flag holder, toilet seat, took wallpaper off in the bathroom and painted the back wall of our ledge in our living room.

We did have some fun which usually involved eating.  : )

Ole enjoying the whipped butter for the rolls at FATZ. ( noone tell his cardiologist, Please.  : )  )

Ole most everyday went  to the YMCA.  He would actually walk from our house to and back from the YMCA.  Might I add with the heat index the temp’s were close to 103 degrees. I was on hand incase he needed me to come pick him up.  : )  One day Evan and I went to the Splash pad at the Y and Ole came after he worked out.

One night we had a Storm that knocked out our power for around 5-6 hours. That didn’t stop Ole from reading/working.  

Of course Evan and Ole had fun and it seems as if not only the heat wore Ole out but Evan too.  : )

We had a great week. We had lots of laughs and great talks too. I love my brother and am so glad he made time to come stay with us!!!

Thank you Ole for all your work!!  Thank you also for being a great encouragement to me.   We miss you!!!!

Hangin’ Out!!!

We had a busy weekend this past weekend. We saw Ole off on Saturday. ( He will be back  : ) )  We headed to Dillon to drop Evan off at Grammy and papa’s. Then Eric and I quickly changed and headed to Florence to Dr Chung ( Youmans) and her new husband Darren’s wedding reception. They were married in Jamaica in April so had a reception Saturday for those who couldn’t go to the wedding.

The reception was very nice and we got to see and visit with some friends.

We then went to Red Bone Alley and ran into Shane, Crystal and their family and were able to visit with them a while too.  We got back to Dillon around 10:00 P.M.  Evan was in bed and we were soon to follow!!!!  : )

We got home Sunday afternoon and Eric and Evan had some hangin’ out time!!!!  : )
