We got Evan a playhouse last weekend. We didn’t put it up til this weekend due to Evan and I being out of town.

Saturday Megan, Grace and Kate came to visit.  We had lunch outside and then the kids had fun playing in the yard.  We all had so much fun!!!  They played in the house………

Evan got some eggs, Chocolate bunnies, peeps and some wind up toys, and a spider and lady bug that makes noise……well, he’s a BOY!!!!  : )

Then we were off to the Lake for lunch.

Evan had fun playing on the boat to nowhere with cousin Miller!!!  : )

Then we went back inside for a little rest….. however…..we weren’t excited about going in….

All in all I think Evan was tickled about his Easter day!!!!!

Morning with friends

Rebecca, Shea and Zoe came over this morning.  The boys played, we visited and Zoe, well she took it all in!!!!

I gave the boys bubbles that came in “ice cream” containers. Evan was really upset at first that it wasn’t real.  OOPS!!  My bad…..

We had a very fun morning and enjoyed the Pattersons coming to play!!!

For those who have no children or yours are too old, : ) , this is a cartoon that Evan really likes. SO, thus the shoes……

OH, and they have dinosaurs on them too ( Diego is rescuing them!!!) 

Evan is really quite proud.  And he is in size 7 already!!!  Growing up!!!

We finally got rid of the rain for a day so took advantage of the beautiful sunshine!!!

Evan loves his swing and when he wants to go higher he yells…” RUN FASTER” and his legs are like he is running .  : )

 

We are teaching him to mow the yard…….just kidding, but soon though.

OKAY, this is a bit SCARY!!!  Eric was trying to cut down this big bush and Evan wanted to sit in his lap!!  Needless to say Eric waited to finish til Evan went in for his snack!!!

Then of course after all that he needed a bath ( and a short siesta while in the bath…HA!!!)

Then ready for bed, course we have to wear daddy’s shoes while winding down.

Easter Egg Hunt at Church

Evan’s class plus a few other classes had their Easter egg hunt this  morning.

They started off by making crowns to wear on their heads with easter eggs on them.

They then had the Easter story read to them

And then off to the egg hunt. In these pictures I never got Evan’s face much because he was always looking down to find eggs…

After the egg hunt we all went back in for a snack. It was an iced cookie which Evan was really just interested in the sprinkles. 

It was a fun time.
