YELLOW, YELLOW!!!!

Today was Yellow Day at school!!!  Each month they learn about a certain color and have a whole morning in which they celebrate it. They wear the color, play with things that color, Eat their snack which is also that color etc……

Evan sporting his new shirt ( which I made, well applied the iron on ) OH and that makes me HAVE to sidetrack a bit. If you know my husband, you will appreciate this immensely!!!!  BEFORE I could apply the iron on he had to go find the tape measure and BE SURE that the ‘tie’ was indeed centered.  : )

Back to Evan.  : )  He was very happy about going to school until he figured out Thomas the train wasn’t going too. I usually have time to hide Thomas on school days but not this morning.  : (  So he was an unhappy fella for a few minutes.

He still tried real hard to stand nice for the picture don’t you think!!!??

On another side note: his obsession with Thomas the train  is quite funny.

Anyway, he had a great time at school and I really think overall is doing very well there.

Evan’s Love For Music!!

 

 

A girl who used to work with Eric hands down things to Evan from time to time ( THANK YOU Shawna!!!!).  This time it was a guitar. Evan loves singing and trying to play different instruments.  He has had a ball with this guitar!!

Preschool…HERE I COME!!!!

 

Today was Evan’s first day of preschool. He will go every Tues and Thurs mornings.  I dropped him off this morning around 8:45. He cried as so did I. It isn’t so much the separation for me as it is the fact that my baby is no longer A baby.  : (   However I am happy he is growing into a nice little boy.  For him it was being somewhere new, because he does fine when he is left at church nursery.

His class has 13 boys and girls in it, The classroom itself is real neat with all kinds of things to do. Every Tues they have a music class, which I know Evan will love due to his love for music!!! They also have chapel twice a month.  Every month they have a color they focus on and do EVERYTHING with that color down to the clothes they wear.  He will be learning so many things. I am excited to see what all he will learn. I will keep you all posted!!
