For a lot of you I am sure you are saying who cares, snow. BUT for us it is truly a novelty. They say this is the fifth largest amount of snow we have ever gotten. It’s melted now but boy was it pretty and fun while it lasted.
Evan was not too thrilled when it started and kept saying “ BRRRR, its cold”. He is a true southern boy. : )
I think his head may have been cold despite the hat ( it’s kind of thin). We really are not equipped for snowy weather here.
It took about 30-40 minutes to accumulate a light dusting. The snow started at around 3 or 4 in the afternoon and was to continue until 2 or so in the morning. We KNEW we were going to have a lot. And were SOOOOO excited.
We went out around 9:30 pm after Evan was in bed. He eventually grew to love it and if anyone made a move towards the door, well, he was going too. Thus the waiting for him to go to bed. We knew he would have fun in the morning.
Finally we all went to bed. The anticipation for the morning was a close second to Christmas morning!!!!! I woke up early to try to get pictures before all the kids came out to play.
Then the world came alive and we all had a blast!!!!
Evan and his friends.
Evan and his big snowball that he prefered to just carry around. : )
Not sure why he is upset here…..probably cold and or hungry ( we went out before breakfast)
Sable enjoyed herself too!!!!!
Momma and Evan
This is the only shovel we could find to shovel snow. Evan was doing a great job!!!!!
So, just to give you a glimpse of what our South Carolina snow looks like. We may not see it again for a while but sure enjoyed it while it was here.
